Right on!

What I found particularly interesting is that both D/FW and Houston residents also ranked highest in acknowledging their spiritual beliefs as having a positive guiding force in their lives.

What do spiritual beliefs have to do with happiness?

For example Denmark is one of the happiest countries on the planet (and was even ranked higher than the US according to a recent survey done by Forbes Magazine) yet most Danes are atheist. More likely happiness has to deal with economic security which in D/FW's and Houston's case has to do with the excellent job market.

I didn't say whether or not I agreed with the assessment - I'm just saying that it was very interesting that both of the groups of "happiest people" also had the highest percentage of people who claimed to be spiritual.

Fort Worth's vibe and cow culture is just more down to earth and calm. Whenever I go there you will find me relaxed and stress-free drinking a beer or two. It's downtown street level is tops along with Austin. I will be there this weekend.
