That's true Angie.
Only problem is those Californians have been moving to Texas and driving up our cost of living. Housing has more than doubled in the last 10 yrs. Everything has gone up here in SA.
They hear the rumors of how the cost of living in Texas is so inexpensive and the economy is booming here, so here they come in droves. Thanks for ****ing up Texas too.

A CDL is pretty easy to get, a 2 week training course is all that is needed.

It's also easy to keep (I've had mine for 17 years). Don't use recreational drugs, and have a DD or call a cab if you go out drinking.

Lubbock is always looking for recruits for the police dept. I would guess there are other cities that also searching. You'll need a clean drug screen, good credit report, an no criminal record.

Try UPS in Texas. You may have to start in the warehouse but pay is said to be good as are benefits and promotional opportunities. Good luck.
