I'm a person who likes women of all races, however some places are more accepting to these kind of relationships than others. In your opinion, what are the best and worst cities for interracial dating and relationships in Texas?

I'd give the edge to Houston, and to a lesser extent Dallas. I recall seeing lots of IR couples while living there, but I think overall Dallas is a bit more segregated than Houston.

I think you can make a very generic statement that the big cities are all pretty much okay (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin) and the differences will be very dependent on where you live, work, etc. within those cities. All of them have what I would consider a good dose of 'who the hell really cares?', but all will also have their exceptions.

Count Vidor as being among the worst. I'd personally look at the whole golden triangle area with suspicion.

This depends on what kind of IR dating we're talking about. Houston and Dallas are your safest bets for any kind of match being accepted. Austin's pretty white. Not sure about San Antonio and El Paso... maybe someone from those cities will chime in.

I would speculate the worst to be smaller cities just about anywhere else in Texas. Not all though... some are more okay than others.

That is true, but although that impacts the possibility of IR dating, I am not sure that it really impacts the acceptability much. A good friend and former co-worker has been in an IR marriage for years and had two kids. There are places they avoid, but to tell you the truth, most people capable of posting a message on this board would avoid them, too. He lives in S. Austin, and his kids, as far as I know, have never had an issue either.

He is white and his wife is black, and if anyone gives them more than the normal glance, it is because she is quite beautiful, and I am not sure how he ended up with her anyway .

White (Czech/German/Anglo) + Hispanic (mainly Mexican-American) couples are commonplace in both Austin and SA.

...and Houston for that matter.

Austin, Houston, and Dallas. I know some interracial couples in Georgetown and Hutto, which are in the Austin area and are small towns, but they don't have any problems as far as I know.
