That is funny, but I like it. I'm going to enjoy the coolness while it's still upon us.

Love the pictures! I live just south of Fort Worth and it snowed ALL DAY, sometimes so hard it was like a white blur. Sometimes, the flakes were so big... it was beautiful.

I remember back in the eighties, it snowed in Arlington and that time, it stuck to the ground, snowmen everywhere! My sister and Mother had gone to New Orleans and the same storm sustem dumped tons of rain down there.

The only sure thing you can say about Texas weather is this...Come summertime, it's gonna be HOT! Other than that, who knows? I've seen it in the eighties one day and the very next day be in the twenties! It's really nothing to see the temperature drop 60 or so degrees when a blue northern rolls in.

I remember one time in Amarillo, it was sunny in the morning, then there was a sandstorm, then it rained, then it hailed, then it sleeted and then there was a snowstorm and all of this in ONE DAY!

I have pictures of my son in shorts sitting in a lawn chair by a snowman with snow on the ground and in the background on the rose bushes with the red roses that were already in bloom. This was another time in Arlington during a late snowfall.

I love Texas.

Ski boots? They're very uncomfortable to walk in. The back ends stick out and so the bindings can attach and they also don't allow ankle flexation.

You sound like a Canadian.
When our weathermen talk about periods of cool weather, it's very arbitrary;
it can mean an afternoon down to 25 F.
