I googled "best us airports" and found an interesting link from Travel and Leisure, I think. It rated Minneapolis #1. It also listed Atlanta as one of the 10 worst.
Orlando's been my home airport my entire life and I honestly can't complain about anything.
You obviously don't check bags there. I seldom do, but now and then don't have a choice because I'm traveling with something I can't carry on. The last time that happened, it was over two freaking horus to get my bags--and they were tagged priority.

Favorite airport though was Philadelphia. Great food options and I've never ever gotten in and out of customs as quickly as at that airport.
Agreed, CBP at PHL is quick and painless, and the food options there are among the best at any airport int eh country.
Really? I wasn't crazy about Philadelphia. Kind of bland and the food wasn't anything to write home about. Certainly simple to navigate though and there were plenty of employees around for assistance which was nice.

Not that they are all stellar, but there's plenty of variety and a few of those places are really good. (That's just a sampling, there are probably 40 other restaurants in the airport.)
Just because it is the largest, doesn't mean it is the best. It is top-notch in convenience because you can fly to most anywhere in North America, Europe, and South/Central America.
I feel it is too crowded, sparse on amenities, and poorly designed when it comes to luggage transfers (I work at ATL ).
I used to travel for a living. Some of my favorites were Sea-Tac, Portland, LAX and Denver to name a few. Was particularly NOT fond of San Diego and Phoenix. John Wayne was a real trip due to the necessary fast dissent and take off angles. I HATED Houston with all the walking and shuttles. Salt Lake Airport is easy and convenient and getting even better with a remodel. Chicago O'Hare is just huge but not too bad, especially if you don't need to pick up baggage. Sacramento was one of my favorites as well. Very convenient for the rental care as well.
