I was really impressed by ANA. I like the fact that they offer their home(Japanese) cuisine. I flew Ethiopian and was disappointed that they didn't serve Ethiopian food on the flight. South African was pretty good and I also liked Emirates.
United gets a thumbs down for not offering complimentary alcohol. The food is meh as well. Delta's food is about the same but at least they offer free booze to wash it down with.
I've been on International flights with Air Canada, United, Turkish, Thai, Swiss, Lufthansa and Cubana and only Turkish and Thai had really good meals.. Swiss was good and definitely a solid third on my list.. Air Canada and Lufthansa are pretty good but they aren't consistent. United has been ok and I've flown on them quite a bit and have noticed they are definitely improving their product - just wish they offered free alcohol like the majority of major International Carriers... Cubana ... well I got to my destination lol..
Yup, Turkish has some pretty decent meals. Austrian Airlines is okay, when they really get their food from Do&Co since their restaurant is on Michelin Star level.
Worst meal was on China Eastern... Even though Shanghainese is probably one of my favourite cuisines...
I haven't had an airline meal in ages.. You only get one now on flights over 4 or 5 hours. It used to be you'd get them all the time even on Easyjet.
