Damascus and San Francisco. One is impossible to survive in, and the other is in Syria.

Edit: but Damascus would definitely be cool if/when things settle down.

That would include Florida, eastern Ontario, and a lot of Australia.
Australia is actually mostly dry, just like Arizona. Nothing like Florida.

Mainly most of Asia (except Japan, China, Thailand, and South Korea) and Africa (except South Africa).

I also don't have any desire to go back to Florida.

No place on either the African or Asian continents.

I really don't want to go north of the VA-NC state line, but I may get bamboozled into it.

Having lived in the dry desert too long, Las Vegas, with our super-low humidity, I won't go anywhere where I'll collide with both heat and humidity, and let's get even pickier, as I don't have to deal with flies, mosquito's/gnats here, no collision with insects either!

That creates a long list, but I'm not going to put it all in alphabetical order!

I won't go anywhere that has a large warning from the US State Department due to my wish to not be killed on vacation. Places such as Honduras, Yeman, Lebanon, Central Africa, N. Korea... Yes I know I can be killed in my own backyard, but the odds are greater in other backyards.

Not hugely interested in Central or South America. Seen too many shows about their prisons, drugs and dangerous animals.

In the US I have no desire to go to any states in the deep south. Had a really bad experience there as a child which left a very bad taste, so don't wish to return.

It's strange, but with the coming of age (just turned 60), someone like me who was used to enjooy traveling since childhood due to having parents who travelled a lot , I notice there are more and more places that I've no desire to go to, either because they are dangerous (most of Middle East and Africa), too cold (scandinavian countries, CND, the poles), too hot (most of South America, south Asia, Africa). So that leaves me with reduced choices-and less of a quandary when I have to choose a place to vacation to!

As an old man, you should not come up with all the wrong assumptions about the world.

Is most of Middle East and Africa dangerous? Parts of them have conflicts and instability, but hardly "most".

Is Canada too cold? Depends on when you go. Most of Canada has great weather between May and October. it will be 22-23C for the next 10 days in Toronto, is that "too cold"? It is only early June.

Saying this is like saying I don't want to visit USA because the gun violence is everywhere.
