^ I see, thanks. That's going to cost an arm & a leg that I can't afford. Anyone know the cheapest CFAR type of insurance these days?
It doesn't matter. Unless you put your first deposit on this trip down within the past 2-3 weeks, it's too late for you to get an insurance policy with a cancer for any reason rider.
Someone at my office has a cruise scheduled for the end of the month.. They said they got a note about a $200 credit.. Not sure if it was onboard credit or what, for NOT cancelling/rescheduling. I think they said Royal Caribbean.
She's a pretty frequent cruiser, so.. Might be something they're offering higher tier members or something.
I booked air GSP->MCI in June and Petty Driving Experience at Kansas Speedway for the same time.. See if they decide to throw any credits my way.. lol..
Personally, I wouldn't do a cruise regardless.. Those things are just floating petri dishes. I'd be more concerned about the noroviruses that spread like wildfire on them.

Latest news — confirmed Covid-19 cases aboard the Grand Princess cruise liner currently in limbo off the coast of California.
So far it’s only United cancelling flights, but other carriers will likely follow suit:
...
Not totally correct, US is now limiting incoming flights from certain countries who can now only land in specific cities. Thus the US is now also a country that is banning incoming flights.

Tons of airplanes are flying in from South Korea and Europe every day.
Will coronavirus cause airlines to eliminate change fees?
I'll start out by saying that I've long thought that change fees are nothing but raw, naked greed on the part of airlines. (I'm not at all talking about a possible fare difference; I'm talking about a fee just for the "privilege" of changing one's flight.) One of the major reasons that Southwest gets most of my air travel business is that they don't charge this fee.
That said, the coronavirus is causing a lot of people to want to postpone or cancel their travel. And for those who bought their tickets prior to March, they're still bumping up against fees of up to $200, per person, just to postpone their trip. For a family of four, that's $800 down the tubes. Do you think that there will be enough of an outcry, or enough people who refuse to take the risk and just don't book at all, that airlines will be forced to do away with change fees?
