That crime isn't new; you're right, and there's been discussion of "Amy" in this thread. The clip has more information about that crime, though.

Pretty sure that’s the video linked above. I watched it the other night, and it was 60 Mins Australia.

"Forensic pathologist Werner Spitz, who examined famous cases from JFK to JonBenet Ramsey, dies at 97"

Spitz stayed in the public eye even as he approached 100 years old, most notably when he was featured in a CBS show "The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey" in 2016 where he identified the child's killer as her brother Burke. (And was later sued by Burke Ramsey.)

My recollection of dr. spitz:

“I think the duct tape was a later event, not an early event,” Dr. Werner Spitz told the jury. He added that it was introduced “after decomposition.”

The testimony is significant because it is in direct opposition to the prosecution’s theory that Anthony killed her daughter, Caylee, by smothering her with pieces of duct tape pressed firmly over the toddler’s nose and mouth.

It also clashes with the findings of Orange County Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia, who ruled Caylee’s death a homicide and concluded that the duct tape had been affixed to her face before her death.

There was also a piece of duct tape applied to JonBenet Ramsey's mouth. The tape, which was not sourced to anything in the home, showed no resistence from the victim.
