Picacho Peak State Park is at relatively low elevation so it might be the warmest, but it's technically north of Tucson. Your headline says you're looking for campgrounds south of Tucson.

Well I was going to not only camp, but also look at land in cochise county, but I will check it out, thanks for the idea.

I wish I could afford to buy land right now. Cochise County is gorgeous. What type of property are you looking for?

Just looking for some land in the more rural area. Something I could do some permaculture on. Permaculture is pretty adaptable to a variety of areas. I want to get about 10 or so acres.
