I think the Palo Verdes didn't bloom enough this year!

No, seriously... something's not right... They bloomed some, but not as much as they normally do. I know 'cause I watch nature closely at work.

Heh, not that I know much about this stuff, but the Palo Verde/Green is pretty damn easy to tell - it's got green trunk and branches.

Our large ash tree was a south sun blocker, so we missed the shade, but being able to breathe was worth it. You can always put new window shades in, and plant something new that grows fast - I found that all desert plants grow crazy fast with enough water.

Hey two, maybe you could use a book, if you don't know to google.

Does anyone remember what those are?

Yes indeed, that's why they call it "Palo Verde" ("green stick"). With its needle shaped green leaves to boot, it's pretty easy to distinguish from a mesquite, which has small, but actual leaf-shaped, leaves and a regular brown trunk.

Two-Hey, I have another idea. Ask one of your friends on this forum. I'm sure there are some that could go on and on and on and on "ad nauseum" about a mesquite tree.
