Such good news! I'm watching it from the beginning right now. I scored Seasons 1-6 at an estate sale. I'd never seen the first two seasons so that really helps with the backstory. I've seen all episodes of 3-8 but still need to get caught up on Season 9. I'll probably buy 7, 8, 9, and eventually 10 so I'll have a complete set. It's one of those shows that wears so well that I can imagine watching it over and over again long into the future.

I'm so glad there will be another series. I did not care for the ending of the last one. Though why is every man but Doc Martin bearded in the video (Penhale does not look good with a beard).

I thought Penhale looked good with the beard.



Doc wouldn't be caught dead in a beard I would presume. He'd probably study how much bacteria was involved.
