I enjoy the show. Shy girl is really stepping it up; she was in a bidding war with Assistant Manager over the sari that caught on fire later.
I was a bit bummed with Todd and Asha's romance coming to an end, but now I'm curious as to what direction it will go!
The show is also on Hulu if you miss it on air.

I liked that in the last episode the Indians were the more jaded ones in a way. He shows them what he thinks is a nerve-racking "Black Friday" shoppers panic and they're like "so what?" and "You call that a riot, where's the tear gas?" India has had riots that would probably make LA's in the 1990s look tame so it fit.

And I'm starting to like him a bit more. I guess you give a guy an obnoxious father and have him stand in the rain it melts me a little.

I watched 15 minutes of it and was not amused at all. Whoever the people were responsible for putting this show on the air deserve to have their jobs outsourced.

Eh I just mean it's growing on me, but I'm not a total fan either. There are some things about it I still think are kind of too sophomoric.

The show is funny and the characters are endearing but without getting too political the subject matter is disturbing to unemployed Americans.
And yes I watch it every week for Diedrich Bader who is hilarious.

The best part of this show has got to be the ridiculous novelty items that get featured on each show. And the facial expressions as the characters try to understand these items are great!

I like several of the Indian characters, especially the quiet girl and the playboy character. The assistant manager's openly gleeful attempts to undermine the other manager is funny. Even the bit parts are done well, for example the guy who runs the vendor cart outside. The aussie girl annoys me, but maybe they will give her a more interesting role as time goes by.

I do wish they'd stop making the main character soooo stupid about Indian culture--he's supposed to be a sympathetic character but it's hard to like a guy who's that clueless about basic things even most 5th graders know about another culture (especially since he's now been living there awhile).

I have to say I was a bit disappointed last night. The first couple of eppies of the season were hilarious IMO but what I watched last night were only so-so. The "cuteness" has worn off IMO. What happened to that guy with the big turban that sat in the back of the office? How did these Indians become so "Americanized" so quickly? I still love Gupta. He's a jewel. That laser tag was hilarious. "Quiet girl" is a gem too.
