I feel like this show never really got a chance to have an actual thread about it pro or con. Instead it was mostly just political crud. So this is more about people who actually watched this TV show and how they feel about it. So if you are boycotting it on principle then pass this thread by please. Also if you want to discuss trade policy with India please go to politics or debates.

Anyway I watched this week's. The show still seems a tad goofy, but that one girl trying to help him get Asha (sp?) is kind of adorable. There are things about India's more conservative culture I admire so I almost wish they'd tone down the American-style vulgarity a bit, but oh well. So far I'm mixed on the show.

I think this show is hilarious.
Especially since I get the Indian inside jokes.
People need to get over the whole 'outsourced' thing...there are so many more offensive tv shows.
It's fiction, it's sitcom, it's just for fun.

I agree. I find this show amusing and fun. I like the actors. It's not supposed to be political; just funny.

Yes. The actors do have great chemistry, don't they?

I can see the characters evolving more each week and thats a good thing. It really does take time for a cast to gel. At first I didn't like the Dietrich Bader character but now he's really stepping up. Same for the chunky, awkward Guy and the Shy Girl. I still don't care for the Aussie gal but she hasn't done much either.

Funny Thomas - I had to do a similar thing for an Oprah thread

I agree with Ceece's take on this so far - especially the soft-talker The Aussie and the co-managers are my least favorite regulars. Overall, it's not good/interesting/funny enough to make me tune in just for it - but, if it shares an hour with something I want to watch then I might stay with it.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that got turned off by the political overtones of the 1st thread. I've watched it since the beginning and I like it. Gupta & Madhuri are hands down the funniest of the characters. How long it lasts I have no idea but I will enjoy it while it's on

I've watched this show twice now and have to admit - I have laughed out loud at it. That Halloween episode cracked me up. That character of Gupta is hysterical and so is the other American guy. Not sure if I'll be tuning in every week. It's not really a "can't miss" show but if I'm not doing anything else I'll watch.

Thanks for starting this thread! I didn't know what to think about this show the first episode, but have grown to really love it.

I loved them shocking each other at the end. That spitting tobacco scene was pretty funny. I like the development of each character each episode. They come out of their shells more and more. But, my favorite episode by far was when the fancy call center people were stuck on their table. So funny!

I was so looking forward to watching this when the ads starting coming out, but I have missed it. What days/time does it air?
