That party was so ridiculous! It just shows that these women have no real class, they just don't get it, they think just spending money is enough. That could have been such a fun party if done with some common sense.
I have an enormous pet peeve about people that complain about the food at the dinner table. Not telling a waiter at a restaurant that there is something wrong with their food but at someone's dinner table. I also hate it when someone looks over at what I'm eating, no matter where I am, and says, "How can you eat that? I hate that!" It is so incredibly rude that it just staggers me. And I think that Alexis' revisiting of the particularly vile restaurant episode where she yacked into a napkin was disgusting. And she brought that up at the table! UGH!
Yes, Tamra cutting up Gretchen at the dinner table was tactless and yes, Gretchen would do the same without hesitation.
The OC is full of classless idiots. Heather is probably not going to fit in well unless it turns out that she is cut from the same cloth.

I took it to mean that they are Jewish but that they also have Buddhist beliefs such as meditation or other things that don't interfere with their religion. I'm Christian but have some Buddhist ethics and it is more common than you think. Heather and Terry call themselves BuJu's because that is what it is called, as well as JewBu's.

Thing is, she's an actress... And she made the decision to do this show - so I have a feeling she knew what she was getting into!
My guess is that she will try to show us as much reality as possible - but if the going gets tough - for whatever reason - she'll turn to her acting skills. She's savvy enough to know that to be successful on the show, she has to provide a certain amount of drama - and she's also savvy enough to choose what kind of drama she wants to provide!
That said, I can definitely see it working out as you're predicting - that Heather is a bit of a fish out of water, in this cast. And in fact, Tamra is predicting the same thing, when she says that Alexis is going to have big jealousy issues over Heather. And I bet Heather doesn't mind that plot line at all! To be the most sophisticated in the cast, and to have the other cast members be jealous? Yeah, that sounds very possible!
What's up with Tammy? That whole episode with Vicki, and her boyfriend was so ridiculous, she must be so insecure to get that jealous, and upset over their "drunk bonding." I've never understood how people can stand being crazy jealous, I trust my partner, otherwise I wouldn't be with him. Also, jealously tends to drive people away. That whole meltdown seemed so overblown, maybe she was hormonal, or something, it seemed like more than too much wine.
Gretchen's dog walking outfit looked like a joke version of an OC outfit, I can't believe she actually walked down the street wearing that. Her boots bring back memories though, the one thing I always found so funny about SoCal is the winter boots with shorts thing, I used to live in a beach neighborhood, and so many people loved to wear that combo.
Tamra the whole horny teenager routine is getting really old, how about acting your age.
I agree, she is so obnoxious sometimes, she doesn't need to be prudish like Vicki, but she needs to chill on the CONSTANT sex talk. No one really cares about her sex life, good for her if she is enjoying her relationship, but we don't need to hear about it all the time.
The show would be boring if they didn't inject the ongoing dysfunctional drama; it's all for entertainment purposes and that's how I view it, I never take any of it seriously.
