"M.A.S.H" - How could anyone not be terribly sad at this Finale ? One of the best series ever written and the final episode was just so full of pain.

"Northern Exposure" - My Favorite show of all time and I suppose it felt a bit like a "family" in strange way. When "Our Town" began to play at the end both Hubby and I were getting a little teary and it still gets to us when we watch the DVDs.

I cried during "Lost" & I was mourning the loss of that show for maybe two weeks. What the heck was I going to watch now that it was over?? I've gotten over it of course. Now, I'm rewatching Party of Five, I'm on the last season, season 6 & I'm dreading the end. What the heck am I going to watch when it's done? And it's such a dang good show.

I remember that series but I don't remember the finale. What happened in it?

Northern Exposure, I loved that show and was sad to see it end. I went and bought the CD that had "Our Town" by Iris Dement.

Torchwood. I couldn't believe everyone got killed but Captain Jack.

This wasn't the end of the series but I was so sad when Archie Bunker held Edith's slipper after she had died and told her how much he missed her.

Mary Tyler Moore

The final Carol Burnett Show

Avatar the Airbender - This one surprised me! My son watched it, so I got into the series. Really well done, I love it when a series has a full story arc and ending.

We have been watching LOST on Netflix, we have 5 episodes to go. I have read a *few* spoilers (mostly in this thread! ), but I don't know what to expect about the story itself. We're having a hard time imagining how they'll wrap everything up.

M*A*S*H

Sex & The City - It was more that I'd miss the girls, than the episode itself

I didn't cry for St. Elsewhere, but I was sad the show was done. I loved the quirky ending.

You guys make me want to watch Six Feet Under! Maybe they'll stream it on Netflix eventually.
