The way I remember it Nolan was sympathizing with Emily about Jack being the real father and chiding her for telling Amanda that he wasn't.
That's how I understood it too. I'm not sure why Emily's giving Amanda the impression Jack isn't really the father...maybe to mess with Amanda's head and make her off-balance?
Wow....surprised no Revenge fans have commented on last nights explosive episode. This show has some strange twists and turns. I'm not liking how Victoria is handling herself these days....she doesnt realize how dangerous Emily can be by simply pushing her out of the Grayson's life after what Emily has done for them (although it was for selfish reasons). I loved how the Grayson family is all falling apart....mainly due to all of their lies and deception. I love how Daniel is palying the game well with his mother Victoria as Emily advised him.
One thing that I'm still trying to understand is the "intimate relationship" that Emily's mother had with Gordon (the White-Haired man). They left us hanging with that for the week and also Emily shocked that her mother actually loved that man.
Too be real honest....I really don't like the role of the new accountant with Nolan's company (can't remember her name but maybe is Padma or something?. She doesn't bring much to the show at all....just dry.
I like watching the show...am often "wowed" by the twists and turns....but this last episode just left me feeling confused. Not sure who to "root for" anymore.

I agree. Something's off about that woman, and in the interaction with Nolan it feels so forced; I don't feel any chemistry at all between them.
I get that with pouty Daniel out of the picture, they think Emily needs a romantic interest. Aidan brings that sexual tension to the show. However, I'm still on the fence with the new additions to the show especially the accountant.

Well since nolan is gay there wouldn't be a lot of chemistry
Nolan is definitely bi. Nolan referred to himself as a 3 on the Kinsey scale, which makes him bi. Also, in the pilot episode you see Nolan flirting with Ashley; but the writers quickly dropped that possible pairing.
Don't be surprised if you romantically see Nolan with both men and women on this show. He has crazy chemistry with practically everyone and brings out the best in their acting when he is sharing scenes with them. I personally find Gabriel Mann the best actor on the show. Nolan is the best character, in my opinion, to be created and acted superbly in a very long time!
