Jessica - I sorta gotta go with Randy on this one. She sure has a voice but, like Skylar, she just didn't connect with the song tonight. It's almost like she speaks a different language but knows how to mimic what she thinks a star is - and has the pipes to back up most of it. Her styling was great tonight - love that dress. She also showed great breath control running around and not wavering or panting one note. I'm glad now that we're getting down to the finals that Steven is coming out with some real analysis again, too.

P2 was so funny making his moves on Joshua - I think he was totally comfortable and had no qualms whatsoever - Joshua disappointed me, though, with how homophobic he acted.
I don't think Joshua is homophobe, I think Phillip not his type and him coming from a religious background and family it will be forever for him to come out of closet. I still think Phillip and Colton made a cute couple.

I think Joshua won that round. Randy's Terrence Trent Darby comment was spot on.

Oh I don't think he's really a homophobe either - just that he acted like it -which is just as bad. That Philip/Colton scene was so freaky goofy

I still think she should be next to go, she's gone too far already (Sorry Kev).

Joshua did a great job on his song, I really hope he'll be a finalist.

To me this post is spot on. I think Jessica has a great voice but to me it comes across as Japanese guys doing karioke (sp) and not knowing the meaning of the songs they sing.

I loved her outfit too.

Ok for about the first time I've gotta say - that was good, Hollie, really good.

Ya, Sud - I wouldn't be too sorry to see Skylar go next.

BTW, that was a daffodil, not a tulip, in Joshua's lapel.

The girl trio was a little funky - and not in a good way.

Holy cow - Jessica was so good - just right on that song. I was afraid she'd Xtina it up but she kept it pure and simple and it was beautiful. She has such a lovely tone when she sings that way - so clear and not at all nasal.
