I just think it should be the best, most qualified host. If that person is a woman or a man, so be it.

I think Mayim Bialik would definitely be a credible host because she is a name and she's incredibly smart, it's just a matter if she'd be a good host, as I don't think that's something that she's ever done before.

Rumor has it the replacement will be Shepard Smith. That's the reason for his abruptly leaving Fox.

Hey! What about Sarah Palin? Her public career has sputtered, her husband filed for divorce last August....she couldn't be more available. She's be great up there . "Well, gosh darn it, you betcha you're right because that's what it says right here on the, you know, little card thingie here. " Or "You betcha, it was James Garner who starred as "Maverick" and you know speaking of mavericks...."

Alex is a goner. The cancer came back already, worse than before. That's usually how it goes.

A quote from above post from Mr Alex Trebek. I can really appreciate his outlook:

We’re back on the chemo and we’ll see if the numbers go down. They can’t keep doing it forever, of course," he said. "They’ll have to find a new protocol or whatever to administer. We’ll play it by ear and keep chugging along until we either win or lose.”

I just don’t care care for women hosting game shows , don’t like them reading the news either ..sorry!

No. I remember Art Fleming. When he left lots of us thought the show would die. It didn't. I like Trebek...a lot. The point is -- the host of this show needs to be not at all dominant.
