Yes I agree, not sure if he's actually stupid but he certainly acts it, phoney too the way he pretends to crack up at his guests .

I love the NFL Superlatives and his thank-you notes on Friday. He does seem overly enthusiastic sometimes with the guests. I think he just hasn't grown into the role yet. But he's funny. There is definitely some good stuff on there. So, no, I don't think it's stupid, but in a way, I get your "watching a 6ft tall 12 year old host a show" remark.

I do. Fallon always was a man-child. Jimmy Kimmel is the real talent on late-night TV.

My wife (60+) loves it. I don't watch much late night TV, so I'm neutral on it.

Ratings have SOARED since Leno>Fallon.

If everybody liked Fallon, what would the lesser talented late night host do? You always need somebody to be number one in the ratings so the others have something to shoot for.

ALL late night talk shows are pretty bad and I avoid them like the plague!

Jimmy Fallon always makes me laugh and smile. Yes, he's goofy, overly complimentary, perennially happy, and somewhat of a man/child, but that's just him. I admire his musical talent, skits, and ability to get his guests to relax and have fun playing silly games. I liked Carson and Leno a lot, but I love Jimmy Fallon.

i like jimmy. but i completely agree with your comment a 6 foot tall 12 year old hosting a talk show.

i think his show gets a little too silly every now and then. i am not a fan of the lip flip thing he does with his guests. but overall i like the show and i think he seems like a genuinely nice guy (i don't know him. he may very well be a jerk). he can be a little over enthusiastic sometimes with his guests. but he does some good impersonations and musically talented and i think he can be very funny.
