I saw JP at the beginning of the show... I think the others were there as well.
Looks like there's going to be lots of fights this season.. What's up with that one girl, who's supposedly shy, yet cusses under her breathe.. She's the one who gave up on the Scallops... What's that saying, watch out for those shy ones?
Every season I wonder why the chefs don't practice making scallops, risotto and beef wellington. He is really scraping the bottom of the barrel this year. I have never made risotto but I understand how it is made and the finished dish should be creamy. That one blond woman who refused to tell anyone how long needs to go. What a head case!
I didn't know HK was going to be on either, just got lucky.

This could possibly be the worst season of HK ever. Normally on the first episode, you can identify a few people you like. I don't like any of these people. They were all weird and annoying LOL.
Maybe it will take a few episodes to warm up to some contestants, but after last night's premiere, I looked at my wife and said "they all suck" LOL.
Holy COW!!!!! (No pun intended. Well .... ok, I lied. I DID intend the pun!!!)
For the past few weeks I've been online trying to find out when HK started for 2014 and couldn't find ANYTHING!!! All I could find were articles about Janelle's drug problem and how she didn't take the job from last season (which, BTW, seems like it was an eternity ago!). Hubby and I were flipping through the channels last night about 8:10pm (California time) and happened to see the donkeys in the kitchen and I immediately spazzed out!!! Do you silly cows even realize how close I came to missing this seasons' HK?????
I am SO glad GR got rid of that Guano guy (whatever his name was! ). No, dumbass ... everybody does NOT stick their fingers in the food to taste it!!! Ugh!!!
It looks like this is probably going to be one of the worst batches of bungholes GR has EVER had in the kitchen!!! Seriously - where does he get these donkeys ... from the cattle feedlot???!!!
And ... is it just me, or ...... in past seasons the opening episode has been 2 hours, and last night was only 1 hour??? Is it on again tonight? We clicked on "Record Series" on our DVR, and I'm pretty sure we already had it recorded as one of our series to automatically record. But, we have so many other things recording that HK might have gotten "kicked out" of the recording list. I don't know - I'm a technologically-challenged donkey when it comes to TV stuff that has to do with VCR's, DVR's ... and don't even get me started on Beta and DOS!!!!!
So far (keep in mind, this dumb cow missed the first 10 minutes) I didn't see anyone on HK that I liked. They all seemed like a bunch of damn jackasses!!!
On a similar note ... Has Kitchen Nightmares been on, or have I missed that too? What about Hotel Hell? For about the past 2 to 3 months I've really been feeling like I need a Gordon Ramsay fix!!!!! Thank God I always have Judge Judy - except for when the 'Lympics were on! While that was happening, I was forced to turn myself into a GR/JJ combo, much to the "delight" of everyone around me!

I have to admit I didn't like anyone either. That's unusual. The woman that kept laughing when talking to GR was okay but that would get annoying.
Oh yeah, the fingers in the food. modcut Who does that? And no, not everybody! Yuck! They need to announce where and when he works anywhere in the country so people can skip that place like the plague - which he is single-handedly spreading.
