Caroline is always defensive against criticism that she's too close to her adult kids. She talks about how she "cut the cord" when all of her grown children are still tied to her apron strings. She is living in deep denial. Her two sons are spoiled and creepy, particularly Christopher who appears to like porn instead of decent women. The other son went to Colorado with her blessing because he is unemployed and wants to go into the marijuana business. Her daughter, Lauren, is getting married and Caroline manipulated her to live with them after the wedding.

I don't think Caroline manipulated Lauren into living with her after the wedding. I think it's going to be very heard for Vito to try to pay for the lifestyle that Lauren is accustomed. She doesn't even pay for her own gas and she used her dad's Amex to pay for her drinks at her bachelorette party. They hardly ever show her at work (though they did one time and she closed up shop because she was mad). I think it made sense. Let them save their money so they can buy a house (and it is going to have to be in "the location").
I like a lot of the 'housewives' franchise but I simply cannot tolerate this show. I used to like Caroline but I do think she needs to get a life of her own.
