Wow Davey and Goliath. That takes me back. One of the staples on my Sunday. Watch Davey and Goliath then there's be a couple cartoons before choosing between channel 11 here in NYC showing an Abbott and Costello flick on the Sunday Morning Movie or channel 5 showing a Tarzan flick at about noon.

I remember all those great years of the big 3 networks going all out with cartoons for our viewing pleasure. Now they've all pretty much have abandoned the concept of saturday morning cartoons. Thank God for Boomerang and discovering that Amazon has alot of the cartoons I grew up watching on DVD. I'm gonna be making those guys a lot of money this year. I already have the classic Jonny Quest

I might have agreed with you if it wasn't for the fact that all the good television shows from my childhood keep popping up on the big screen Just kidding. But i have noticed a lot of 90's cartoons being brought back but they're revamping them. I was flipping through the channels and I caught a glimpse of Rainbow Brite. She's kinda hot now lol I guess they felt she had to look a little more "realistic"

I think Spongebob is funny, personally. Plus, there's hidden humor for adults that flies right over kids' heads. One of the best cartoons, in a while, in my opinion. But I'd still take Tom and Jerry anyday.

I thought the first couple of episodes of Spongebob were funny but after awhile he just got annoying. The jokes aren't even that good. Some of the shows are just gross; like the one where Patrick thinks he stole the donut from Spongebob or the one where he spits on Sandy to wake her up.You know what I think is funny though, the guy who played Douber (sp) on the sitcom Coach also plays the voice of Patrick LOL he does the dumb thing really well.

You're lucky you hit Nick when it wasn't showing 10 episodes of Sponge Bob in a row.

that is the channel that shows Sponge Bob all the time, right? (someone will correct me if I'm wrong here)

Sponge Bob will make you want to go jump off a bridge.
