Hard to forget about politics when the show is mainly about an illegal alien.

Mod Note: Report any Off Topic Posts or any that you believe violate the TOS. DO NOT post anything except that which is about the TV show.

Please take a moment to review the Forum Rules/TOS in my signature line below. Any posts not about the show will be subject to removal.

Thank you.

Yeah, you're a mod and all, but these points we're making are actually topics being discussed in the show, so it is relevant to the actual Supergirl show.... We're not just talking issues just to be talking about them. Otherwise, that's censorship.

I DID NOT "Hijack" the thread!
My comments WERE NOT political!
My comments WERE about the show but I guess that someone didn't care for my views?

Hey, sonny, Cop, and clay... have you all ever thought about posting a thread about 'Liberalism and the Enterntainment Industry' over in the Politics and Other Controversies section?

Also, if you read the Forum Rules / Terms of Service (TOS), you have to keep in mind that you all would be walking a fine line between what the TOS calls "Hate speech" and expressing your views about minorities and minority groups portrayed in entertainment. However, if you decide to... it ought to be interesting.

I was kidding about the illegal alien. Growing up in 50's & 60's the term was not in vogue. Superman was a strange visitor from another planet, and who, disguised as Clark Kent...well, you know the rest. I like the show, a lot of action. Don't like the mushy parts.

People too often, especially on this site, label something 'Hate Speech' just because they disagree with it. That then does indeed become censorship.

Yeah, but I think that the moderator was saying that there's a time and a place for everything... and this forum wasn't necessarily the place for some of the comments that were made. However, I think that the Politics and Other Controversies section would be a great place to start a discussion about what some people wanted to talk about.
