I didn't like the ludicrous resolution to this season's storyline. It felt a lot like Wonder Woman 1984's.
I did like that several of the cast who had departed returned for the finale.
Full disclosure:
I was one of the few who watched the show through its entirety. From season two on the show became woke and became increasingly more woke with every season and the ratings started to drop.
In season five they tanked. In fact this past spring (season six) when the show took over Superman and Lois' time slot it couldn't match that show's ratings nor improve on its lead-in's ratings.
There was an episode this past season [episode 12 Blindspots] that made me realize why people were abandoning the show. In that episode the adventuring and swashbuckling were placed on the back-burner to preach to the viewer about societal issues. Apparently the writers of that episode did not take that into account that perhaps some of their viewers watched the show (and other shows) to escape from reality for a while not to be reminded by it- or in this case, beat over the head by it.
So this past year Black Lightening and Supergirl came to an end. I suspect in the coming year Batwoman, The Flash and DC's Legends Of Tomorrow will be ending their runs as well.
