The next one, tomorrow, will be about the BTK killer. Although the program will specifically center on his daughter (and her book about being the daughter of a serial killer), I'm not sure I'll be able to watch.
These documentary features have, so far, been very thorough examinations of the subject matter, so I'm sure there will be more than I care to see about him--again. I remember when he had to give a courtroom allocution after his guilty plea, and he seemed proud of the details of torturing his victims. And the way he referred to the killings: ....then I put her down ....then I put her down. Those poor family members, too. What an odious homo sapien.
I don't think I can listen to that again, though the subject of being the child--the daughter--of a serial killer is intriguing (and I can't even imagine). I'm sure 20/20 will do it well.
I don't think I will watch this one. I would rather watch Blue Bloods if it is on. I can't stand the sight of Dennis Rader. It is publicity for the daughter's book. Pass....
I wont watch about the btk killer nor will I watch to promote any ones book .I will never understand how a person can make money off of some familys tragedy . That has to be pretty low if you are that desperate for money . sad just sad .

While that's certainly true, and the timing of this is obvious, no one can deny that it's her tragedy, too.
If Ted Bundy's daughter, who may or may not know of her parentage, were writing a book and appearing in a promotional interview, viewers would watch that in droves.
I can't imagine what it must be like to be the daughter of a predator serial killer. That's a club I wouldn't want to belong to.
The subject for this Friday's episode will be Ted Bundy.
I'm sure that the 20/20 coverage of him, too, will be exhaustive, but this is another one I'm not sure I can watch (I passed on BTK).
I'm sure they'll include childhood "stories," etc., but he's hard to stomach. And I already heard the much-publicized interview on the radio just before his execution; nothing new there.
These 20/20 documentaries have been well-made--it's the subject matter that's sometimes hard to watch for 2 hours.

I agree...have studied Bundy on and off for years....don't want to spend 2 precious hours on him.
I am tired, ad nauseum, of the same old, same old serial killer "specials". There is only a finite times you can spin the same story.
