I've really enjoyed these 20/20 two hour specials. I'm looking forward to the Ted Bundy one. He was in CO as part of his killing spree, and as a teen with long, brown hair, I fit the profile of his victims. There was a lot of fear about him, especially when he escaped from jail in a town near us.
I liked BTK, too. I think the daughter's book is a vehicle for her healing. I'm sure she'll make tons of money from it, but why shouldn't she? It must be horrible to be the daughter or son of a mass murderer. You live with the shame for the rest of your life. That's got to be hard.
I remember seeing a special with the daughter of Diane Downs, the mother who shot her kids, killing one. Farah Fawcett played her in the movie "Small Sacrifices". This daughter was born in jail and later adopted. When she found out who her mom was, she was terrified she inherited something awful from her mom. I can't imagine...
