From the same time frame as Herman's Head (early-mid 90s), Space: Above and Beyond. One season out of five planned, memorable because R. Lee Ermey reprises his Full Metal Jacket role as a Marine drill sergeant.
I remember it, and liked it.. there was a funny, short lived sketch comedy also on FOX around the same time.. The Ben Stiller Show. Young Ben Stiller & Janeane Garofalo.
Ya know...I was thinking about this show after seeing some reruns on tv again, lol...
Why didn't they just get a paternity test? Or were these guys supposed to be gay? This show makes no sense to me as an adult, lol
They did in one episode when the dad's kept fighting. But they refused to open it. But the judge opened and looked at the results. She gave a quick smile, but the audience doesn't find out.

Yeah, but it's Damon Wayans & Wife that ruined the show. They began acting dumb, and dumber.
"After these messages, will be right back" skits - during Saturday morning cartoons - Cartoon figures play musical instruments while singing this line. "In a minute" skits - during Saturday morning cartoons - During commercial break, cartoon figures briefly recite this line in squeaky voices. "And now, back to the show" skits - during Saturday morning cartoons - Cartoon figures sing this phrase before the shows resumes.
Keep 'em coming!
I do remember those, lol
And the ABC Weekend Specials, this is the one I never forgot:
Stranded on an island as a result of a flash flood, a boy and his sister gets saved by, among all things, a cougar--from kidnappers and a way of getting off the island.
Omg, I loved that show, for very shallow reasons. I taped a couple of episodes on VHS. The intro/music was awesome.
Same here, guilty! If you haven't seen Night at the Roxbury, you've got to see it - will be a reality check on our shallowness. Grieco did not age well!
And to keep the topic going, neither did the other Richard I was crushing on hard in the 80s. Three O'Clock High, anyone? Does anyone know where we can access the library of ABC After School Specials?
