Half of these you've mentioned I don't know. There was quite a few years I didn't watch much tv at all. There was one about long haul truckers, 2 guys and I can't remember who they were or the name but I used to love that show.
Only reason these were forgotten is they haven't been picked up on oldies channels. The ones we still see, everybody knows.
Ok I did some surfing and found the trucker one. Movin' On with Claude Akins.

Back in the 1980s I loved a Sunday night show called 'Voyagers.' It was a time-travel show that only lasted one season. The star, Jon-Erik Hexum, died a year later by an accidental gunshot wound when filming a scene with a gun loaded with a blank.
Wow, these were great. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Girl, I remember Jon-Erk Hexum not in "Voyagers" but in another show called "Cover-Up". He was a special forces vet who posed as a model and went on missions around the world, alongside his female photographer.
Does anyone recall "Shazam" and "Isis", which would air on Saturdays? The former was about a teen boy who traveled around in an RV with his uncle?/grandfather? and transformed into Captain Marvel. In "Isis", a science teacher used an ancient amulet to become the famed goddess in order to fight evil. The 2 shows had a few crossover episodes with each other.

Oooh. I loved Isis. I thought she was gorgeous and her outfit & go-go boots were so cool. Liked her better than Wonder Woman. I also remember about the same time a show called "Hot Hero Sandwich". Couldn't stand that show but it always came before a show I liked so I had to suffer through it. I also vaguely remember Love, American Style. I didn't like that show either. Everyone came across as silly, obnoxious or icky in my 2nd grade year old mind. lol. Oddly enough, I liked Love Boat which was basically the same concept but the whole cruise atmosphere made it lovely.
Thanks for posting! I really enjoyed watching this show and had totally forgotten about it till seeing your post. Unfortunately I can't find it streaming anywhere??? Please let me know if I missed something in my search? TIA

As young girl, I crushed hard on Jon Erik Hexum, I had my room covered with posters from Tiger Beat magazine. I watched him in both Voyagers (with Meeno Peluce, Soleil Moon Frye's brother), and in Cover Up (with Jennifer O'Neil as the partner/photog, if memory serves). I was devastated when I heard about his death, and it was seemingly such a silly way to die. Gun safety cannot be overemphasized.
And I totally remember Shazam, my siblings and I still call out "SHAZAM!!" at random moments. I even remember Isis, that show was so cool to watch as a kid, it's a shame it ran for such a short time. Great memory on you for those, very fitting for this thread!

Same - I remember the Love American Style Show and remembering I could never get into it, but Love Boat - with you all the way. Plus, Captain Stubing had his daughter Vickie along. My family were not involved with cruising culture despite living in LA, we had one cruise as a child but it was a transatlantic from Montreal to London and Rotterdam. Not quite like the Mexican cruises I now take my family on as frequently as schedules/time will allow - let's just say, watching Love Boat as a child definitely fueled my cruising interests.
No one has mentioned BJ and the Bear, which I totally loved at the time because we were regular campers when the show ran its course, and we routinely saw and interacted with long haul drivers and big rigs. Can still sing the theme song, and that Greg Evigan was such a cutie. He aged quite well too; fans of the series Desperate Housewives might recognize him as one of the wives' ex-husband.
