Lol! It does feel like they are making Gina the star now!
Per Chuck Lorre, this season is Chapter 2 into the people from Season 1. Supposedly, "Drew" is trying to find himself and that there will be more from "Julia" and "Eli" throughout the season. But yeah, IMHO Gina is the center of the show now.

I got bored and quit watching it. All of the scenes in the home are cliches.
They are running an ad where Meredith dies. Any idea why she is being written out?
I don't think she's being "written out" in the sense of getting rid of her. I think that was the plan all along. She's been terminal since S2E1, and in the fall finale, I vaguely recall her having a relapse of sorts. She'll die, and then it becomes a new-ish story of Harry trying to move on.

Most recent episode was really well acted. I thought the sorrow of Meredith's death came thru very sincere. This is a really good show, they balance humor and everyday drama well. And it's interesting to me how they were able to transition from a show about a rootless stoner (in Gina), in to basically the experience of senior citizens. Seasons 1 & 2 feel like two different TV series, I'm curious if their audience is mostly Baby Boomers, younger people.. or a fairly even mix now

I'm new to this show, and hopefully can catch up on previous episodes via Paramount+
I love all the stars of yesteryear, so fun to see them now. I didn't even recognize Jane Seymour! Love the humor. I hope they resolve that situation with Gina's sister fleecing her. Didn't like that. The show has potential for a lot of creative growth IMO.
I too like the balance of comedy and real-life drama -- they pull that off really well. For some reason Paramount Plus does not have season 1, so I had to start with season 2. I missed all of the kidney dialysis episodes. I look forward to this show. It's very humanistic, caring and funny. and caring -- we need more of that. I like all the characters. Annaleigh Ashford is really talented and of course all of the other people are too.

There are several CBS series that Paramount Plus only has some episodes.
