Me and the fiancee have watched Top Gear for a while, such a great show I really want a ToyBoata.

I disagree, I have had 3 Jeeps in my lifetime and 2 of the 3 went rolling for over 200K miles. Th Eruos ratings for reliability aren't that impressive, so it may be fast but when it's in the shop every other week whats the point.

I said 'some'.... not all American made cars are crap, but many of them are.

Jezza, Hammond and May really do make the show. I haven't seen the non-uk shows but what has me watching the shows aren't the cars, it's seeing the three of them be put through some form of torture.

Default Top Gear new season

Its season 15 for Top Gear starting this Monday night at 9:00pm
Biggest news is that now we get to see the full unedited version. All 1 hour and 20 minutes so set your DVR accordingly.

We can't wait! They had an all-day marathon yesterday - relived some hilarious episodes. Didn't know about the format change. I wonder why, and if it will really prove to be an improvement?

What color do you think the new Stig will be in? I say red.

A lot of us yanks were tired with 18 minutes getting edited out of the show for BBC America.

Probably the most consistently entertaining show on TV - very much looking forward to a new season.

Default Top Gear coming to the History Channel

I just saw the hosts of the new US version of Top Gear on the Today show. I think it will be hard to copy the version in England. What do you think? I premiers this Sunday.

The main reason I love watching Top Gear is because of the hosts banter with each other, which will be near impossible to copy. I heard about US TG a while ago and both me and my ex (we're both HUGE fans) thought it was a bad idea...but we'll certainly see.

In addition, I simply don't think it will be as fun because Americans tend to take things far more personally and if the hosts of the new TG decide to tear into American cars as much as the British guys do (ESPECIALLY Clarkson) I think they'll lose a lot of commercial sponsors and **** off a lot of people. Personally, I'd find that quite hilarious but I'm sure the car manufacturers won't.

Plus, how can they do Top Gear without Hammond?? He's adorable!
