NONE of the other shows listed (network sitcoms and/or dramas) could be considered "Intellectual" because they are not. Sesame street is more intellectual than most of the shows currently on network tv.

Maybe not "intellectual" in that they increase your knowledge, but there's plenty of smartly-written, highly intelligent, and believable TV shows out there if you just look for them.

If we can exclude the obvious, like Meet the Press and History Channel, I would say maybe House and Numb3rs.
