I think it was cruel and unusual punishment to deny us Eric in the finale. LOL.

I second that one !! Although I was very pleased in which the manner that Maryann (freak) was killed, I was still longing for a little Eric action. Just one quick scene with him in a tank top again.....

I third it!! Just so wrong to only see Eric once and the scene with him and the queen was weird.

Very, very disappointing season finale, silly, boring and way too talky at times. The "engagement" issue - UGH! No - double UGH!

Doesn't even come close to the excitement of the Godrick/Church episodes and what was going on both in Dallas and Bon Ton during those episodes. In fact, I would say the finale was the worst episode of the season. The finale teaser was more intriguing than the episode.

Only part of the finale worth knowing is who is really behind the selling of V and what Andy did for Jason regarding Eggs.

Oh yeah, Eric playing Yahtzee....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. What a waste of Eric.

The writers are really deviating from the books.

I liked the bull scene - that was pretty cool.

I guess they are really making Eric out to be the bad guy - who else would have chained Bill and kidnapped him?

In the books, it was his maker (on the threat she would kill Sookie) and a computer project he was working on - the reason why he left.

I believe it was Eric that kidnapped Bill, JMO. I thought the finale was a bit of a let down considering the build up to it. I almost knew what was going to happen before it did. The only thing that surprised me was that Jason shot Eggs. I thought it'd be someone else, but who knows.

Seems like HBO is doing the same with True Blood that Showtime did with Dexter. They didn't like the direction of the books, or some of the character changes, so they are substituting their own.

But honestly, would you really want to watch a TV show that is exactly like the books you've read? If you already know the story, it kind of makes it boring, unless you're a kid into Harry Potter.

I thought Maryann suffered a just end. Felt bad for Eggs though.

I don't think it was Eric per se ... I thought I saw bare hands on the silver rope. I'm sure someone was dispached by the Queen, maybe Sookie's cousin or that other yahtee guy. I'm not too hip on the actress playing her ... or the way she's playing her.

Anyone have any idea why Bill wanted to get married in Burlington Vermont? Is that a reference to them allowing gay marriage therefore they would allow human/vampire marriage?

I was also let down by the finale! glad to be rid of maryann and thought it was good to see sam and bill work together. I like sam and would not want him dead. I am wondering where next season will take sam in the search for his real parents! I was disappointed that there was not more eric/bill conflict in the finale. Seems like eric would be the one to kidnap bill, but that seems a little too obvious. Oh well..a year to wait and speculate!
