This season has been pretty damn interesting so far. The murder of the fake voodoo lady, the presence of Mary Ann and a whole lot more. My only question is what the heck is Mary Ann? My 1st guess was she's a witch but that chick is nowhere near being human.

I agree. I think that is who she is also. I hope they take her story somewhere soon, because it is boring me. I love all the other characters, but Maryann rubs me the wrong way. That's probably the point..lol. I always want to fast forward scenes with her, but don't hoping it will go somewhere and get better. Other than that this season is great.
i don't think the Maryanne actor is doing well with the role. Certainly not as from the book even if you take away the added plot line. She just doesn't have that otherness, craziness, even the sex stuff. I don't like the story line they are present there much.

I hated Mary Ann, but I love her now, for whatever reason. I think she does a good job at playing her character.
I'm liking this season too. But theres lots of odd/creepy characters: Eggs, Daphne.
After seeing that scratch on Daphnes back, I definitely want to know the story behind her. Mary Ann has made Sam become very mellow this season lol
I just don't get the whole maryann thing. The whole shaking and people going wild. I need more info on what she is! why is the daphne girl still alive with the scars when they said sookie would have died and the found the dead black woman with the scars. someone help me!!!!
