I know, he was a riot on his sitcom but being a talk show host was not his thing.

He was born w/a wierd face...but so was Conan. Conan actually got a giggle out of me the other day w/his goofy face, don't know what came over me.

He'll probably pull the racist card like he always does. He's such a narcissist. He is not funny though he thinks he is. I was reading something were Eric Estrada was glad this was happening to him and saying that people will now find out who this guy really is. I guess he can't stand him.

Default George Lopez "Saint George"

I love Lopez, although since I do not speak any spanish and his stand up is 30% in spanish I miss a lot.
I just watched recorded #2 episode from his FX series and wonder what is anybodys take on it.
i think it has potential but they need to get rid of that canned laugh and actors behaving like they performing a stand up, delivering one liner and waiting for applause.
What is your take on this?

I just caught an episode last night.
I thought it was funny. being of this culture I get the humor, reflections, and his sense
Of story telling.
Seems like he is still pulling stories from his own life to sell t.v. Shows.

I can relate to him bringing his son to that hole in the wall place for authentic Mexican food, and the kid wanting Chipotle type Mexican food.
This hits really close to home.

I'll DVR the show and keep watching.
