Because the screaming is annoying.

Didi got the boot this week.

Now ... will she and Ryan Seacrest hook up?

Time will tell.

I thought he was dating Teri Hatcher for a while. Here are my thoughts about Ryan Seacrest. All throughout the competitions, no matter how rude a contestant is, how strange, how bad, he never laughs at them, never rolls his eyes as they walk away. He never says anything unkind. He encourages them, he consoles them, he roots for them, and sticks up for them with the judges sometimes, calling them on their remarks and asking them to explain. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and a class act.

You know, that's a good point. I never thought about it that way. Thanks! It's probably his role, and he knows things even before the judges supposedly do, so he may have a little more empathy for the contestants.

Still wonder what it's REALLY like where they all live. Some day one of them will come out with a Tell-all book. Like those "Sit com scandals" they play on the biography channels. When this Reality Show craze has run its course, we'll see "The Truth Behind the Reality Shows!" LOL

I think the right person went home last night, though Didi did a much better job trying to save herself than she did the night before. Tim should be next, but I won't be surprised if he isn't.

I just don't understand how DiDi transformed into a completely different person as the competition progressed.

I actually had to go back and do some research---thinking the person I thought she was must have been eliminated, but she was the quirkey hippy type girl in the beginning.

I'm sorry, the one and only one who should have gone home is Tim. Didi deserved to stay one more week! Maybe she would have had the chance to be herself, with a proper song choice. But Tim does not deserve to be there again - and we don't deserve that either!

Why does a mediocre singer like Tim Urban keep making the cut from week to week?

#1 - View these pictures of Tim, and then read the blog comments below them:

#2 - Lots of teenage girls vote

I agree with so many of you on the dynamics of the show this year, i have quite a few i really like. but something seems a bit off. Is it just me or does Ryan and Simon clash and really don't like each other, it seems apparent that there is something going on with those two. I really like Casey, Mike, I could like Katy,Lee, Shibon, Crystal and Erin, But again, something seems to be missing with the show, The judges even seem different to me, and Simon just looks like he is so over it or is it me.
