I kind of half way watched it, just doesn't hold my interest like it used to. Tired of the annoying sister with her new toy, er baby, too. One good thing, Kono said she will return next Thanksgiving in her video chat with Chin Ho. Sure hope so, this new Five-0 just ain't cutting it.

The baby story was definitely a "wtf" moment in the show.

Default Hawaii 5-0 talks about Japanese Internment.

I just finished watching the December 12th episode of Hawaii 5-0 and was really impressed with the way it covered internment in Hawaii. The tell the story in flashbacks with great 40s music and wardrobes.

This is a topic you don't here talked about often, mainland or not and I was really excited to see it in mainstream TV.

Anyway it is a typical episode with mystery and action, but I really enjoyed it. Have you seen any other interesting takes on historical events on network tv?

I dont quite get what Hawaii Five-0 is doing. I didnt care for the "internment" episode only because I didnt really see the need for it. Then last week's was about the tsunami.

Maybe these were put in for the holidays but to me, one "feel good" episode was enough. I didnt really need them back to back.

I get a chance to watch the original in my CoxCable selection and, compared to it, the new version lacks something.

However, I watch it as it's not that badly written. Not among my top choices, but entertaining;

I disagree..it is an important episode in the sense that it acknowledges a less than pleasant point in our history and regulations with an amount of grace rarely seen on network tv. I was impressed...and it was a pretty good episode.

Nothing is particularly necessary on 5-0 in terms of plot elements.

My point is that the show is fiction. I didnt need a history lesson in back to back episodes.
