Does anyone know if any type of visa or permit is required to do work for a US company in Puerto Rico? I know you as a US citizen you are not required to get a visa to work there, but is that for any job or jobs at places owned/operated there? I may have to travel to Puerto Rico (or get to, rather!) for a couple of weeks for my company and want to make sure I don't miss anything.
Are you a US citizen? If so, no worries my friend. Things like work, school, driver's licenses, etc. are all the same as any other state, no extra paperwork required. You might want to talk to your company about the income you earn while you're in PR though, since income here is typically exempt from federal taxation (though the island government's rates are high).
