@ Jack Crook- South coast is quite a bit more arid, you start to see cacti as you head south. While living on the west coast years ago, I noticed a major difference between summer/ winter. Winter much less humid. Spring brought more rain, summer brought more of the mid-day showers and oppressive humidity. I found a link to an annual rainfall map for you. Kind of old, but still suitable.
Can anyone tell me anything about the high schools in agudilla? I want to transfer but I have a 17 yr old daughter and I am very concerned about her education and safety. And is it better to find a furnished apartment/house or ship my things over to the island? And what about transportation is there buses, trains, etc or will I need a vehicle? Any info will help

Aguadilla is a nice, quiet town.
There used to be an armed forces base near it, Ramey Base, some time ago. It isn't there anymore.
I have no idea if you can find a furnished house there, but you can always try.
As far as transportation is concerned, there are definitely no trains there. You probably need a car to get around.
Wish you good luck in your search.
Check out the home and away, and vbro sites. I rented a spot through those sites in Cabo Rojo and a place near Shacks beach in Isabella. Very nice place to eat in Aguadilla across from the airpot. Down the street from a bowling alley/ night club. That guy had a huge extensive list of beers. Sorry, gonna step on a few toes, not a fan of crash boat beach. Nicer beaches around.
