Hi, does anyone have experience with this?

Did you file a new claim?

Are you receiving the funds yet?

Thanks

what state are you claiming in? lots of threads/comments for NJ, CA, NY and a handful of other states.

When did your benefits exhaust and do you have a valid claim year that hasn't expired yet.

I think the 13-week extension is automatically applied if you are within your benefit year. If you are eligible for a new claim year you are usually required to file. If you are not eligible for a new claim then to get the 13-week extension you would apply under new guidelines.

NJ has clearly stated for those with exhausted benefits and/or expired benefit year after the dates they've listed to wait until being notified on how to certify benefits. So NJ has not addressed how they are handling those (which includes me) who have exhausted benefits and expired claim years. No notification nothing. Just left hanging.

NJ Scenario A group of exhausters it says to WAIT for notification on eligibility for extensions. Only file a new claim if new employment to report. So exhausted benefits and expired claim year and no new employent are waiting and waiting.

Hi, I'm in New York. I just filed a new claim today, a day after my previous U.I claim expired, and luckily, it said my claim was complete and to start to certify next Wednesday, so I did not have to call in so far. Gosh, I hope everything goes smoothly.

I wish NJ's would go smoothly, as still waiting and no notification yet from NJ DOL.
