The GDOL website results on my certifications since May 31 show "not paid report to the office." Do I have to report or will they just direct deposit the funds once I am approved? (I did an online application on May 26). I can never get anyone at Clayton County office to answer the phone or call me back!!

I just spoke with Sharmane and she is speeding up my information since she said the career centers are waiting for the records to put on the list. She said that they are actually making their own list. I told her that between Mrs. Yates, Jandy, Randy and herself they all need to be commended for their excellent work and I got the number to report a "kudos" to them to the Assistant Commissioner Brenda Brown (her supervisor) as well as to the Governor. I think that we hear more about people when they do wrong and never acknowledge the ones that do a good job and in this case they are doing an excellent job. I have not received mine yet but that doesn't negate the fact that they are doing great there and are very patient with all of us calling in. She even mentioned she heard of this blog! The commissioner's e-mail is: Brenda.brown@dol.state.ga.us I think everyone should send a "Kudos" to all that helped us out when our career centers didn't and they did it with a great attitude because I am sure it's been overwhelming.

I am reading how you all are going through the situation with these career centers and if you are persistent and keep calling the numbers posted by SMS200 and speak with a person and do not leave messages because they are busy try early in the mornings to get Mrs. Yates or Zandy or someone in their office they will gladly assist you. Hang in there and keep calling I was like that all last week and when I got Mrs. Yates Monday of this week all three of my weeks was in my account on Wednesday. I do have direct deposit just keep calling. Praying for you all.
I just received a call from Mrs. Curtis with the GADOL. She said they have to deny my SEB because I have monetary benefits in NC. NC denied my benefits because I had to quit and move to GA due to the fact that my husband's job was not doing well and he was getting very little hours. They said I should have stayed there and worked and let him move here. Who condones leaving your spouse?? Do they not know that these are bad economic times? I wrote the Governor and Commissioner Brown again. The people I spoke to Janda, Randy, etc. did do a good job and got my information rushed through to get a call today though so at least I know now.
just wondering if anyone got the extra $25 with yesterdays pmt yet i usually got it the day after and didnt get it
I always got mine on Friday.
