I don't believe in ghosts and I still don't. But this past weekend I went with my husband to visit his mother for mothers day. There were 7 other people at the house visiting. We were all sitting around a coffee table when suddenly all 7 of us saw a lighter lift itself up from the table about 12 inches and fly across the room until it hit a wall.
Also before that happened I had a bottle of milk for my youngest in my purse, it squirted out of the bottle on it's own on me. The bottle was hard so it couldn't be that it got sqeezed.
A lot of people think it's a spirit, but there has to be a scientific explanation why something like that would happen.
there have been research into this, the proper term for the spirit is a polterguist (dont know if i spelled it right) but it is thought that they are excess energy that has taken form and are usually found around teenagers (usually ones that are stressed or troubled) it is the stress that is though to release the energy
Was there a child who died or a husband? It sounds pretty paranormal to me.
