Ireland is a lovely rural backwater great for a week's holiday spent drinking Guinness and humouring unemployed,toothless locals staring morosely into the pints .
But it's not really a happening sort of place unless you set your sights real low.
Certainly not enough to justify its own thread or indeed piggy-backing on the UK as it historical does.
But I can see why some Irish people think their country is more relevant and important than it actually is.
They always do.
Personally I'd be much more interested in a separate thread on Germany. It's a fantastic country which the rest of the world could do with learning more about.

I was asking why there wasn't a combined forum for the United Kingdom and Ireland, based on the similarities between the two nations.
Then you need to take that up with the staff/admins.
