Yeah, sure hope so. I'm getting frustrated with lack of something to rant about........

With a bit of luck, during the upcoming election campaign, someone actually will knock at my door. Can't wait........

If not, I'll have to go looking for them. They're bound to hold meetings in my town. I am not a shrinking violet, and will speak up........ Just hope Judy doesn't put my choke chain on, as she tries to hold me back. Or my muzzle......... I keep telling her, I don't bite. Not unless provoked.
Dave, considering that I remember you telling about politicians doing something sneaky to get the UK into the EU, I don't blame you. I don't know if you saw the video of the female legislator in North Carolina dressing down the speaker of the state house the other day. I could see you doing something like that, if somebody pushes the wrong button.

It's been sly and sneaky from day one, when Ted Heath took us into this organisation. A union of countries trading without tariff. Sounded real good. Then we started hearing about beef and butter mountains, and wine lakes. Farmers being paid NOT to grow certain food stuffs. That must be 40 years ago.

Then they decided to sneak through ever close union, a growing in power European Parliament, ordering us about, and officials like Jean-Claude Juncker acting like he is some kind of King. Our politicians like Margaret Thatcher, having to be dragged kicking and screaming into signing treaties giving more and more power to the EU over our lives.

Oh, they got their rewards, and still do so. Fancy jobs in the EU, with fat salaries, and fantastic pensions. Ask so called socialist Neil Kinnock, and his wife about that. Have a word with Tony Blair as well. We have been sold down the river by these scumbags for self enrichment.

Now after a useless remainer PM is given the boot, we have a blowhard for a replacement in Johnson. Sadly, he is all we've got. The political system is set up in this country, so Nigel Farage could get millions of votes, and no MPs. That's just the way it is, and we have to work with that system. Johnson is the only hope we have to get out of this cursed organisation, that doesn't give a damn for us, just the money provided by hard pressed taxpayers. I despise them all.

Hopefully, in the upcoming election campaign, I will get to meet a few of them........

I have been reduced to ranting in 'Politics', and picking on folks over stupid things like tipping in America....I feel quite ashamed of myself. Picking on Americans going on about 'freedom' and tripe like that. I don't find anyone there worth arguing with, as they have the brains of rocking horses.......

America needs more politicians willing to stand up for what's right, instead of the rich and powerful. I speak with an American friend every day by e-mail. She is as sick to the back teeth of politicians there, as I am of ours here.

Time for my shower.........

We have lost faith in them all. All except one, Nigel Farage. He stands like a colossus over a useless Parliament, filled with time wasters, and even stupid politicians. There will be a price to pay for all this for years to come, whatever the outcome........

I saw what you posted about tipping, American-style. I can't say that I disagreed with you. There's more to it than what appears to be a festering sore. It's disgusting, but I can't really go into it here.

I suspect that you didn't see the incident that I referenced. Google Deb Butler I will not yield. I think you'll like the video. It gave me hope. It was all over the national news here.

I think you'd be happy to have someone like her go after your anti-Brexit MPs.

I have just been watching the video of Deb Butler. 'I will not yield.' Now, that's my kind of woman. Gutsy, and angry.

We need some honest politicians, not just thinking of enriching themselves. We've got the same problem here as in America. Sly, and underhand, pulling tricks like the one Deb Butler objected to.

Here, Brexit has opened a can of worms, and we have learned a lot these last three years. The main lesson is that we can't trust a single one of them. That isn't good for democracy.

The problem is middleman politics. In the past we had no choice but to send Mr. Smyth to London to represent us but in an age if instant mass communications we no longer need others to govern us. We can do the job ourselves. All we really need is managers to implement our majority policy decisions faithfully — or face sacking.

The fact that we’re still shackled to an archaic system like middleman politics is a testament to our laziness and the fact that politicians long ago discovered that there’s a thriving market for souls.

The real problems started after treaties drawng us ever closer to Europe such as the Maastricht Treaty and Lisbon Treaty coupled with cenralisation, the Euro and the borderless Schenghen,

Then politicians started to talk about expanding Europe to include Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa, and this was followed later by the migrant crisis.

Those who claim leavers didn't no what they were voting for are wrong, as they have witnessed the direction the EU has taken over a number of decades and I became increasingly concerned when David Miliband, the then Foreign Secretary spoke of his vision for the EU.

"Beyond that we must keep the door open, retaining the incentive for change and the prospect of membership provides."

This would be a "version of the European Free Trade Association that could gradually bring the countries of the Mahgreb, the Middle East and Eastern Europe in line with the single market, not as an alternative to membership, but potentially as a step towards it".

That Liberal Democrat lot are a groan.

They are full of woolly headed cumfy living people and are ridiculous. Now that woman leader from up here in Scotland who is so silly is coming out with daft stuff. Dismissing the Brexiteers as if they don't have rights and I also listened to her going on about when they are in government what they will do. That lot have as much chance of that as much as me being Prime Minister. May I also say that the guff she came out with that is just like their young leader years who became a knight then as now a Lord came out with exactly the same laughing nonsense when he was a you leader David Steel in a speech when Leader. He got carried away with that claim and the present Leader doing the same nonsens. Steel and her using their youth to get carried away means little and we have enough nonsense without this.

The PM of Luxembourg attempted a very public humiliation of Boris Johnson yesterday. Boris was having none of it, and refused to allow it to happen.

This is why we're sick to the back teeth of the EU. **** 'em.
