Quarantine for foreign visitors still in effect? (places, work)

Can't seem to find current information.

We had to cancel our annual trip last October, sadly, due to all this.

Does anyone have the current status?

I was in the UK earlier this year (work-related reasons). I had to quarantine. I've since gone back to the USA and I have been vaccinated. Spending time in the UK, and getting to places like London and Cambridge had a positive impact on me. However, under current conditions, I sadly don't see myself going back to the UK anytime soon. I went for work and therefore was able to stay for a few months. I long to see London again.
