The new Illegal Migration Bill has just passed the House of Lords and in terms of illegal migrants they are not classed as refugees seeking political asylum, and they have travelled here mainly for economic reasons.

However even refugees should seek Asylum, in the first safe country they enter according to international law, and should not be travelling across Europe to countries such as the UK or declining to claim asylum in other countries.

The new Illegal Migration Bill will place a legal duty on the government to detain and remove those arriving in the UK illegally and is seen as key to stopping illegal migrants, and the bill is now in it's final stages to becoming UK law.

As for migrant centres (including barges), they have their own Home Office Doctors, and are generally secure facilities with only limited outside access.

The new Illegal Migration Act, will see the following become law -

The Illegal Migration Bill will change the law so that those who arrive in the UK illegally will not be able to stay here and will instead be detained and then promptly removed, either to their home country or a safe third country.

The bill aims to:

* put a stop to illegal migration into the UK by removing the incentive to make dangerous small boat crossings

* speed up the removal of those with no right to be here - in turn this will free up capacity so that the UK can better support those in genuine need of asylum through safe and legal routes

* prevent people who come to the UK through illegal and dangerous journeys from misusing modern slavery safeguards to block their removal

* ensure that the UK continues to support those in genuine need by committing to resettle a specific number of the most vulnerable refugees in the UK every year

They are not Asylum seekers/refugees, they are illegal migrants, who have entered the country illegally.

They are classed as illegal migrants, with many from countries such as Albania, a country with significant organised crime groups in the UK.

The new legislation is in relation to illegal immigrants, and it should be noted that entering for Asylum reasons is not illegal.

The people in many parts of Britain are already sick and tired of mass immigration, and in terms of Asylum seekers Britain takes it's fair share, whilst in terms of migration we already offer access for those with relevant skills.

Anyone who enters illegal should be shown the door, and even in relation to Asylum and Refugees, we need to be careful after a number of tragic incidents including the Manchester Arena bombing, which killed 22 people.

After Biden's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, it was predicted that a renewed Islamic terrorist threat would emerge, and this is what is now happening.
