Does anyone know what middle and high school children living in the Wood Ranch area of Simi Valley would attend? I have been trying to find out and cannot. Thank you!

I'm almost positive it is Royal High School.

Looks like Sinaloa MS.

These schools are API rated 8/10.

Call the Simi Valley United School District at 805.306.4500 for the specific map information. Also check their website (do a search for: Simi Valley Unifed School District) and look at the school report cards. The west-side of Simi (which includes Royal & Sinoloa Middle School has more low-income students and a higher gang rate than Simi Valley High School or the east-side middle schools.)

Wood Ranch is a nice area of Simi to live in. I would not send my kids to Sinaloa Middle School or Royal High School though. I agree with the above poster... more gangs and lower income students in those schools. We have several friends that are Simi PD and they all would back that up. In general that area of town has a lot of less desireable areas. Wood Ranch is nearly to Thousand Oaks.... kind of in the middle of Simi/T.O. If it were possibel I would try to get my kid into T.O. schools... but I dont think that is possible. Anyway... to answer your ?.... I would be looking elsewhere for schools!

Simi Valley is number #22 on the safest city list. Thousand Oaks is #7.

Either way before relocating to a new city (especially if you're from out-of-state), I'd suggest checking the CA Attorney General's "Megan's Law" website to find where the sexual offenders are. Even in these two cities mentioned, you'll be surprised at the number of them living there.

Stay safe.
