I am starting to get ideas from Friends and on the Net but would appreciate as many suggestions as possible.
Thank you for your he

My wife and I were married at THE MOUNTAIN TOP INN in Chittenden Vermont...great place, affordable (but not cheesy cheap) and wonderful staff...we had a wedding party of 33 people and they have an onsite chef and plenty to do...we all made a long weekend of it. Eliminates all driving and logistics....everything all in one place....all our friends are still talking about it....beautiful views of the mountains, lake and fall colors!!!

Probably a great place to get married in the winter too...especially if they were into nordic skiing.

I third the Mountain Top Inn. I've been there during all seasons and it's always beautiful. Click here for their wedding services (http://mountaintopinn.com/wedding.html - broken link).

What about the Four Columns Inn? I think that's what it's called. They've been doing weddings for many years, and have a nice web site.
