Finally bought Call of Duty Black Ops for $29.99!
Also got Velvet Assassin $2.49 - I orig bought this from Fry's for ~$11 after tax but I returned it when I discovered it was on Steam. Waited for it to go on sale and put it in my wishlist!
Duke Nukem Forever $6.79
Test Drive Unlimited 2 4.99 USD
Men of War: Vietnam - Special Edition 9.99 USD
I don't know if I should get Risen for $15
On my Hitlist:
Dead Island $26.79
NBA 2K11 $13.39
Air Conflict - Secret Wars $9.99
A10C Warthog $19.99
The Witcher 2 $26.79
Red Orchestra 2 $26.79
-- these might get cheaper when they hit the Main Page Sale!
I picked up Rift w/1 month of gameplay for $10 today. Played the open beta before, but figured I'd pick it up on sale.
Red Orchestra 2 is an awesome game, I picked it up at full price because it's one my clan plays, and it was well worth the purchase. If you can get it at half or cheaper, go for it.
I blew a lot more money than that! This is everything I bought from the Steam Autumn Sale!
I view that if I buy the games at their cheapest price then in the long run I'm saving money, so I buy a lot during sales.

135 total Steam Games taking 849 GB of Space on a 2tb partition! You have to dedicate a large hard drive if you plan on getting lots of Steam Games! I probably have space for 150 more games!
I have to admit, I did spend a lot on games lately!

I'm very particular about buying games. Just because it's a great deal doesn't mean I'm going to buy it. I do have a list of games that are insta-buys... no matter their cost.
I also prefer buying physical copies of games over electronic copies because I enjoy collecting them. Sadly had to take down the Video Game Wall due to a lack of CD Wallpapers... Eventually, I'll come up with some other nifty way to display the collection.

Your life, your choice... but it's pretty sad to see the stereotype played out. A jobless grown adult living in his parent's basement spending hundreds on video games in just a few days instead of being responsible and assisting the family he leeches on.

I'm not a leech of my Parent's - they almost never give me money and I live off my $1095 monthly SSDI. My monthly expenses are food, gas, car insurance, medicine, and internet - about $470 a month.
When my parents live at home I help them out by driving them around; they don't know how to drive.
If I was a leech I wouldn't bother looking for a job, but I've been applying to jobs every week. I apply up to 18 jobs a week.
So video gaming is my break from the depression of not having a job and the pain of searching for one.
