RPG and MMOs. I was really into shooters in high school (Quake 3/UT2003) but recent shooters are not in the spirit of those.

GTA is TPS (Third person shooter)

There are many different simulation games. Racing simulation, arcade simulation. Sims and Sim City are considered arcade simulations, for example, while Forza or GT, would be considered racing simulations.

First Person Shooters are by far my favorite. Not the campaign part, but the online shooting part like Free For All and Team Deathmatch.

Although Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time, I am not really a fan of role playing games. FPS for the win.

I also like open world city games like GTA or Jak II or LA Niore as well. I think those games are also really good games to play.
